Living in sexual purity is one of the hardest things men face in the sensual culture in which we live. The Men of Purity Weekend is a three session seminar that provides men an important opportunity to come together, get real about their struggles to stay pure, and find what they are searching for: powerful answers found in the Word of God, presented by men who know what it takes to overcome.
The Men of Purity Weekend also gives men a chance to get into God’s presence and find His help in the midst of their struggle, no matter how big or small it may be. Most importantly, attendees will have an encounter with the Cross which could very well transform their perspectives of Christianity for the rest of their lives.
Our Goal
Our goal is nothing less than changed lives, and by the grace of God, that is what we have seen Him do during these weekends. The Apostle Paul told Timothy to, “Fight the good fight of faith.” A pagan culture steeped in idolatry and sensuality awaited the young evangelist. Paul knew it well,
and wasn’t about to pretend his “beloved son” would be immune to its onslaughts. He gave him clear, loving instruction on how to honor God and fulfill his vital calling.
Just like Timothy, our husbands, father and sons leave the refuge of their homes every day and enter a battleground. The American culture, with its brazen assault of sensuality awaits them at every turn. In many ways, the Men of Purity Weekend is a modern-day echo of Paul’s passionate charge, extended to the Christian men of America.
The Focus Is On Pleasing God
The goal of the Men of Purity Weekend is to see men become spiritually equipped to live a life pleasing to the Lord. Some men will have an encounter with the power of God that will forever change them. Others will walk away with a new appreciation for purity and the practical answers they need to walk it out in our culture. Men who attend will be equipped to:
- Honor God with their thought lives
- Share a deeper intimacy with their wives
- Teach their children to be pure
- Protect their homes from ungodly influences
- Pursue and fulfill their calling
A Weekend For ALL Men, Young & Old
These weekends are a time for men to address sexual purity head-on—all men. They are a great opportunity for fathers to bring their sons, even if they are young teenagers. The reality of our culture is that even boys as young as 12 and 13 are dealing with sexual temptation. They will often
benefit as much as their dads from the teachings that will be presented.
