Training and Education
If you point these things out to the brothers, you will be a good minister of Christ Jesus, brought up in the truths of the faith and of the good teaching that you have followed. Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives’ tales; rather, train yourself to be godly. For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come. 1Timothy 4: 6-8
There are numerous opportunities around our district and around the country to be more thoroughly trained and equipped to lead and nurture our flocks. But often times we find out about such an opportunity after the fact, when an event has already taken place.
It is the goal of this page to gather together notices of exceptional training and educational opportunities, providing a central repository for EFCA Southeast to learn of these events and have the needed information to attend and benefit from such experiences.
Peacemakers Conference -
The 2008 Peacemaker Conference will be focused on the theme “The Power of a Peacemaking Church.” Together, we will be reminded of the firm foundation we have in our solid rock, Jesus Christ, and we will learn to help our churches grow to be a beacon of light to those who are hurting and caught in the midst of conflict.

EFCA EQUIP
God has created us to bring forth fruit, fruit that remains. Learning and putting into practice what we learn are indispensable steps towards being fruitful. But in our individualized cultures, we sometimes forget that the bearing of fruit has both an individual and community aspect. With the goal of developing, empowering, and releasing you to be a fruitful part of a fruitful spiritual community, we at the EFCA are committed to creating a learning community called EQUIP.
