OUR PASTORAL CARE MISSION – We want to encourage and equip all of our Pastors in the EFCA Southeast in fulfilling the mission “to establish an increasing number of disciplemaking churches of sprititual vitality and biblical integrity”. We want them to have healthy lives, families, and ministries.
In order to accomplish this, Psalm 78:72 is our theme verse: “…and David shepherded them with integrity of heart; with skillful hands he led them”. We want to help them:
1. Care for the integrity of their own hearts by:
- Nurturing their deepening relationship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and;
- Carefully and intentionally developing their authenticity, teachability, and true self awareness (Ephesians 2:10) as men, husbands, fathers and shepherds.
2. Grow intentionally in their “skillfulness of hands” by reminding them of the priority and resourcing them as adequately as possible (especially in vision framing).
Regional Pastors’ Meetings (RPMs) – One of the best ways to help Pastors care for their own hearts is by connecting them with other Pastors and Ministry Leaders. RPMs provide a comfortable place for Pastors to encourage one another and share ideas and newfound resources. These meetings are based on geography, and all Pastors and ministry leaders of the EFCA Southeast are welcome and encouraged to join in. If you would like to get involved, click on the RPM title above for the RPM location nearest you. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the facilitator listed for the meeting.
Training and Education – What better way to increase the skillfulness of hands than through training and education. The goal of this page is to post notices of upcoming training and educational opportunities, providing a central repository for EFCA Southeast to learn of these events and have the needed information to attend and benefit from such experiences.
